Fort Totten Waste Transfer Station -- Temporary Change of Hours

Neighbors,

Mr. Thomas M. Henderson, the Administrator of the D.C. Department of Public Works' Solid Waste Management Administration as asked me to inform you that the Fort Totten Transfer Station is finally being renovated and that there will be new hours of operation for D.C. residents during this rebuilding period.  That is, commencing Monday, September 23, 2002, their new hours
operation will be as follows:

Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please take due notice of these new hours and govern yourselves accordingly.
